September 17, 2008                        12:30 pm

Radiology Conference Room                     N2E14C

Susanna I. Lee, MD, PhD, is chief of Women’s Imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and an assistant professor of radiology at the Harvard Medical School (Boston). She received her medical degree in 1990 from the Yale School of Medicine (New Haven, CT) and in the same year received a Yale doctorate in molecular biophysics and biochemistry. Her internship at Brown University’s Miriam Hospital (Providence, RI) was followed by residency in radiology and fellowship in abdominal imaging and intervention, both at MGH. She is a 2008 holder of a Figley Fellowship in Radiology Journalism from the American Roentgen Ray Society.

Dr. Lee brings her dual scientific training to cutting-edge research and beneficial applications in clinical care. She is an active educator, speaker, and author. Among her most recent publications are:
