            Catherine C. Roberts, MD, is an associate professor of radiology at the Mayo Clinic (Phoenix, AZ) and an associate dean for the Mayo School of Health Sciences. She received her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine (Tucson), followed by a research fellowship at St. George’s Hospital (London, UK), transitional internship at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, a radiology residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, and a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale. She is chair of quality for the radiology department, chair of the School of Health Sciences for Mayo Clinic Arizona, and chair of patient safety for Mayo Clinic Arizona.

            Dr. Roberts has an active academic career with research focused on musculoskeletal imaging and education. She serves on many local and national professional committees and is on the editorial boards of several imaging journals. Among her most recent publications are:
